LITTLE PASSPORTS TAKES KIDS ON A FUN GEOGRAPHIC ADVENTURE – This is such a great gift. It's affordable , fun and educational !
ALL BROUGHT RIGHT TO KIDS’ DOORS
San Francisco, October 2, 2012 – This holiday season, parents can send kids on a geographic learning adventure – one that lasts well beyond the holidays – with Little Passports’ USA and World Edition kits. A gift that keeps on giving, Little Passports introduces kids to new states and a new country each month, with characters Sam and Sofia as kids’ travel guides, and a combination of activities kids receive by mail, as well as online activities. Made by Moms “Little Passports invites kids to learn about the world around them – from the 50 states to countries all across the world – in a kid-friendly way, with new travel adventures every month,” explained Amy Norman, who co-founded Little Passports with Stella Ma. Mompreneurs Ma and Norman research and develop all of Little Passports original content and kid-test Little Passports with their own children. The just released USA Edition begins with the USA Discovery Kit, including a letter from Sam and Sofia, a wall-sized USA map, field guide, scratch book, disposable camera and photo scavenger hunt. In subsequent months, kids will receive a travel journal packed with 32 pages of activities themed around two different states, starting with New York and Texas. They’ll also get a 3D pop-up model of a state icon to build – The Alamo for Texas, for example – state stickers, postcards, and a letter from Sam and Sofia with the inside scoop on their travels. Step Into the Boarding Zone The adventure continues online, on Little Passports’ web site. Each month’s kit comes with a code kids can use to access games, activities, facts and printable images from that month’s states and more. In New York, Sam and Sofia’s adventures take them from Times Square all the way to Niagara Falls, as they learn about everything from famous monuments and dates in history to how to make a New York-style pizza. Creating Global Citizens Little Passports World Edition extends the traveling fun across the globe, with Sam and Sofia traveling to Brazil, Japan, Russia, China, and more far-off lands. Little Passports World Edition begins with the Explorer Kit, a mini-suitcase with a letter from Sam and Sofia, a wall-sized world map, passport to personalize, travel stickers and activity sheet, and a code to Little Passports’ online Boarding Zone. Every month, kids receive a new country pack, with Sam and Sofia’s latest letter, a country souvenir, postcard, stickers, activity sheets and an online code. “The World Edition is a great way for parents to cultivate the global citizen in their child,” said Little Passports’ Ma. Little Passports USA and World editions are available for 3-month, 6-month and 12-month subscriptions. a Rafflecopter giveaway
